Poor grammar and spelling mistakes… err!! Do you feel literally annoyed when half or poorly typed e-mail gets sent and you can do nothing about it? Sometimes, it misses attachment and other times it has incomplete sentences. Don’t you just hate it to be looked such a fool and want to get it back? Don’t feel bad about it. Well, we are here to provide you with the solution and to end this annoyed version of yours forever. Here is a guide on how you can get back or make your sent e-mail unsent.
Let’s take a look on how we can make our lives easier with this option! You need to go into the Settings option after clicking on to the Settings gear. Go to the Labs tab and select enable from the options for “undo send”. Make it done and save the changes of your settings.
You have just enabled undo send option of your Gmail. You can also increase the delay time of your messages or e-mails to hit your receiver. Again, click on the settings gear of your Gmail panel. Now, pick up the amount of time you want your Gmail to wait before sending your e-mail. You are done!
To practice this, you can avail one of the options out of these three. These options are:
- Click on the cancel button, immediately right after sending the e-mail or while you are in the process of sending it.
- You can click on Undo option, or otherwise use option number 3.
- Press Ctrl + Z.
Enable your setting and try it today. You will feel relieved after enabling and using this option. So, tell us how did you feel about it? And, do ask in case of any ambiguity; use the comment section below to enlist your questions.
