If you recently have noticed, your WhatsApp app frequently has been asking you “Allows the app to take pictures and videos with the camera. The permission allows the app to use the camera at any time without your confirmation.”
That doesn’t mean they want to take your permission to take your photos and videos. Rather, it is a sweet update from the app, WhatsApp. It allows you to have conversations with your close friends and take photos, meanwhile. Instead of moving out of the app and switching to camera app, now WhatsApp gives you a chance to capture your photos right from the app. See for yourself what WhatsApp Support Team says about this:-
WhatsApp has no interest in taking photos of you; we simply wish to make it easier for you to have a rich, photographically enhanced conversation with those closest to you. Your privacy and security are important to us, and we want you to feel confident that you can use the application freely.
This update engraves a small camera button to your app, if you have an Android version. And this will enable you taking photos and videos anytime during your conversation mode on. Although once this update has been installed on your Android phone, yet it needs your permission to get camera access only for the first time. Then onwards, it will not ask you over and over again to interrupt you. And it as well will not take any of your pictures or videos without your permission.
WhatsApp Team has been gearing up their app for WhatsApp camera update . There is no issue that it has something to do with your privacy. If you have not updated your Android phone with this app yet, try it right now and feel free to use this feature confidently and share your precious moments with your close friends.
It’s a cool update and feature to have from WhatsApp. What do you feel about this update? Share your views in the comment section below.
