Motorola Moto 360 is one of the good looking smart watches. The circular design of the watch is succeeding to enhance its beauty where other square-shaped watches weren’t up to the challenge but it’s all on the matter of preferences.
Moto 360 is equipped with a 1.56 inch backlit LCD protected by gorilla glass, which looks like it will be stained with finger prints after a few times use but its surprisingly easy to clean. The resolution of Moto 360 is 320 x 290 with 205 pixels per inch which is great to look at even in wide angles unless you are not looking at the display very closely. The bezel at the bottom of the screen is sometimes distracting but it’s not a deal breaker. And due to its round shape sometimes it does not show the full content of software which we hope can be fixed later in near future. Moto 360 features an always on LCD but due to power-saving option it dims down unless you are not using the display.
It’s equipped with the 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 512 MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The heart rate sensor helps you stay fit and keeps a regular check on your workouts and the face watch is very pleasing to look at. Moto 360 is made up of stainless steel but very light weight at the same time. IP 67 certified, it’s resistant to dust and water so you can wear it in the rain or even go for a swim.
The battery time of Moto 360 is about 24 hours. Charging of the watch is as easy as it can get, it charges via magnetic QI induction or in simple terms just place the watch on its stand and it will charge it wirelessly. Moto 360 smart watch is compatible with all Android 4.3, 4.4 and Android L phone and tablets.
Overall it’s the best Android watch available in the market despite of its few flaws, it’s worth strapping on your wrist. Motorola Moto 360 comes with leather bands but we will be seeing metal straps any day now, it’s available at an affordable price $249/£199.
